Bug Fixes:

When user just create FlipBook for iPad only, the bookmarks in the PDF will not be extracted as Table of Contents (TOC).
FlipBook cannot be launched if there are non-English characters in the output directory.
Exception error occurs when the book has over 350 pages
Flash files converted becomes larger in file size as compared to previous version
HTML5 book cannot be launched if "server license" is applied to the FlipBook

Feature Improvements:

Publishing FlipBook for Mobile Devices (HTML version)
The FlipViewer Xpress Creator now creates a set of files that when uploaded to the web server, will allow end users to view the FlipBook on the browser of their mobile devices (typical mobile smart phones and tablets), without the need to have Flash installed. This means any mobile user with common operating systems, including Android and iOS, will be able to view the FlipBook through the mobile browser.

Basic Features of the Mobile Viewer

Page transitions in both portrait and landscape modes. In portrait mode, the FlipBook is displayed in single-page while in landscape mode, the display is both pages side by side.
Jump to front/back cover
Direct jump to a particular page of the FlipBook by entering the page number
Zoom (through double-tapping or pinch-zoom)
Thumbnail Overview (clicking on thumbnail jumps directly to the respective page)
Table of Contents (clicking on the Table of Contents item jumps directly to the respective page)
Search (clicking on the search result jumps directly to the respective page)
Clickable links within FlipBook (links are available in both standard and zoom mode
About Us Box (displaying FlipBook Title, Publisher, Website and Email)
Supports hyperlinks prefixed with "iframe:", "http://", "https://" and "mailto:"
Links on page will be visible for 3 seconds
Launching of the FlipBook at a particular page
Hyperlink with extension *.swf will be changed to *.jpg or *.png after conversion for html5-viewer

Bug Fixes:

Rotated text in PDF will cause exception error to occur. Internal links do not take effect or text is not fully retrieved

Feature Improvements:

Video Tool Integrated into FVX Creator
The Video Tool is now integrated into the FVX Creator. At the Page Setting dialog box, when you move your mouse cursor above any of the File Names of the pages, you will see the thumbnail of that page with a Video icon on it. Clicking the thumbnail will launch the Video Tool for you to add an FLV video onto the page. The video will be automatically added to the relevant folders. No repackaging is required.

1-Page PDF is now supported
You can now add a PDF source file consisting of only 1 page. FVX Creator will automatically append a blank filler page.

Non-English Characters in Filename Supported
Resource files with non-English characters in the filename are now supported.

Show Shadow
By default, a shadow effect will be displayed in the middle spine of the FlipBook. This shadow effect can be made to appear for the whole FlipBook or for specific pages only. You can determine which particular pages need the shadow effect and which pages do not by simply selecting/deselecting the respective check box(es).

New Flipping Cursor
A flipping cursor will appear when the user moves the mouse over the flipping area.

Width of Flipping Area
The width of the flipping area can now be specified in the launching page. By default it is set at 30 pixels.

Email Address
The About Box now allows the publisher to add an email address.

Table Of Contents
Entries in the Table of Content can be "Moved up" or "Moved down" the list.

Show Help Window at Book Launch
The Help Window can be made to appear at book launch to allow the user a quick glance of how to use the functions of the FlipViewer Xpress Viewer.

Preview Function
You can have a quick review of how your book will look like by clicking the “Preview” button. This preview function allows you to preview the book and all the settings (default or otherwise) that you have made at any point of the creation process. The Preview function will only display the first 10 pages or 5% of the FlipBook, whichever is higher.

Output for iPhone and iPad
If the book is opened on iPad, iFlipViewer App will be launched to view the book. If the same book is opened on iPhone, the PDF Viewer will be launched instead.

Keyboard Navigation
When the book is launched under normal viewing mode (ie non-zoom mode), the user will be able to use the left/right arrow keys to flip the page and up/down arrow keys to flip to the front/back covers respectively.

Printing of Centerfold Pages
Centerfold pages will be printed on the same page instead of two separate pages.

Bug Fixes:

Exception occurs if PDF is older than 1.5 (Adobe 6.0) and no fonts are embedded and relevant language packages not installed on Adobe Reader. Thumbnail and flash files cannot be created, which causes FVXC to crash.
iPad is created successfully, but it cannot be launched if the following steps are followed: (1) Create book for computer without “Saving whole book” (2) Create book for iPad.
Info/Setting will disappear with these steps (1) create a new project, (2) add resources, (3) click "Back" button, (4) open this project — resources added previously will disappear.
When an image is used for background setting, the background image will be distorted when switched to full screen on the Viewer.
Background will disappear after repackaging.
Customized launching logo will disappear in the case of offline viewing.
Duplicated Embedded Code observed at the last step of FVXC Uploader.
Unable to see embedded viewer when book is set to view in single page mode.
Text on the right side of the page cannot be selected if page is centerfold.
Online book will be handled as offline book if book is launched with method http://abc.com/bookname/ rather than http://abc.com/books/flipviewerxpress.html.
Some thumbnails of pages cannot be generated from special PDF, especially OCRed PDF.
